Pros: Lightweight, Attractive, Working well thus far.
Cons: Installation of this little printer was very frustrating. I just wanted a "simple" USP installation, and it took me several hours (and numerous approaches) to accomplish successful installation. I have a brand new Lenovo laptop running Windows 8.1, and this is the only thing I've had trouble inst...
Summary: I have deployed three of these in small office environments. One works perfectly, but the other two loose connection to the wireless network after printing (not every time), and have to be powered down and back up numerous times each day.
Pros: A nice compact package for personal or light duty office use.
Cons: The setup is clumsy. (Does everybody really want the "Shop at HP" program on their desktop?). The wireless connection is unreliable (see below).
Summary: First...there was no power cord anywhere in the box...might of been a reshelved return! Once I cannabilized a power cord from another device, the printer would not connect to my wireless network. Nor would the direct eprint work. Reading other reviews, this seems to be a recurring problem.
Summary: I usually love HP printer products, I've been using them in both my professional and personal life. But I can see why this printer got the bad reviews that it did. I tried to set up and configure this printer on a friends WIFi network. He's using a Verizon Internet/Phone/WIFi router for his network.
Summary: I have had this printer for over a year now, and when it prints it works just fine, but I have had some issues with this: HP Software threw a Null Reference Exception when my system started. So some programmer did not think it important enough to check for null pointers.
Summary: I am an IT professional. I needed a cheap printer for my wife to print things for school. I didn't expect much from the printer being priced the way it was and after many months of ownership and several toners I was right to have low expectations.
This printer was working fine UNTIL I had to replace the toner cartridge

Summary: This printer was working fine UNTIL I had to replace the toner cartridge. The toner cartridge would not come out without force. The latch on the right side of the machine is stuck. So basically the only way to get the toner out is to jiggle it free but that gets toner everywhere.
Summary: I bought this printer for my son who uses an HP Chromebook but this printer doesn't work with the Chromebook and the instructions for installation are very vague. Am disappointed it doesn't work with his computer.
