HP Printer for Home Use
Excerpt: No doubt this printer would meet the needs of a small business just as well but I purchased it for home use. The printer functions really well and it was so very easy to set up and run. Space is at a premium so this unit's small footprint was a requisite for me. While I am using it at home, I am using it for my own small business. Cartridges are reasonably priced for this machine.
Excerpt: Pros: - Quick printing- Wireless- Easy to use- Simple designCons: - Manual duplexing (printing on both sides)- Minor connectivity issues (My problems may be from incorrectly installing the driver)- The lid, that holds up the printed pages, broke too soon, and I had to tape it on to the printer.- (Obvious but) Only black-and-white printing. NO COLOR.My thoughts: It is a great printer. Very quick wireless printing.
Excerpt: This is a great printer for lower volume laser printing. I have not tried the wireless yet but its great plugged in. It has a small footprint if you have a small desk or work space. It is reasonable and prints well. It is must better than using inkjets.
Excerpt: I was looking for a compact laser printer that print clear pages. The P110w has fulfilled both of these requirements, plus. I am very happy with this printer and have purched anothe for my business.
Excerpt: This printer is easy to set up and can be used with the super cool HP eprint solution. You can send a doc to the printer's email address from your tablet, laptop or phone - and regardless where you are it will print on your printer in your home! The laser is fast -- and the toner economical. Stop printing all those documents in 4 color when you only need black and white. The footprint is small and installation can be done via the web or via the DVD included with printer.
Summary: First...there was no power cord anywhere in the box...might of been a reshelved return! Once I cannabilized a power cord from another device, the printer would not connect to my wireless network. Nor would the direct eprint work. Reading other reviews, this seems to be a recurring problem. So beware if you NEED wireless! I did get it to work on USB. On the plus side, Walmart did price match a lower price.
Summary: can let it sit for 2 months and will print perfectly , no more , clogged, colors, and all that hassle, im color free now. NO more, gee you can only uses EPSON, Cannon, etc, cartridges, it's a true blessing. and there are refurb cartridges. now, new/egg/ has this for 59 bucks less. so...... i just retired a 1995 EPSON 600 printer, (kept going by magic and hard work) I'm going to buy a nice color photo graph printer next. for HR, snap shots.
