Summary: Received this M551DN printer the other evening and the first thing I want to say is that it was the easiest -- I mean EASIEST -- printer I have ever set up. Although it is a little heavy, it slid out easily from the box, and I was able to set it on its table in my office. (Yes, it says two people, but I didn't have a problem doing it myself and I'm neither young nor a jock.
Excerpt: I bought this to replace an old Xerox Phaser 7300DN when it finally died. After careful consideration, I decided we no longer needed a tabloid size printer and decided on this M551dn. I plugged it in, set it up, networked it into our system and dtarted printing in about 25 minutes. We had a problem right away but a simple "Color Alignment Calibration" solved it... it's been running fine ever since.
Pros: Compact Design, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Fast Print Time, Sharp tones & colors
Summary: This is exactly what I was looking for in a printer. A bit noisy when running, but that is minor point. Print quality is excellent and prints quickly. Compatibility with my Macs was/is important to me. Printed color is true and the ePrint works well. Easy to install and no issues. Full cartridges is a plus when comparing to other printers. I'm very happy with my purchase of the printer and with the seller. Highly recommend.
Excerpt: Well, so far, the first two we have are working perfectly. They can handle any printing task you throw at them. They have a 500 Sheet Tray STANDARD (so you can put in the whole ream of paper, smaller trays are so annoying) and they are much quicker than any of the other HP Lasers we have around the office. Double-sided is no issue, and works like a charm.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Fast Print Time, Prints Photos Well Too, Sharp tones & colors
I love everything about this printer so far except for one ...

Summary: I love everything about this printer so far except for one - it's noisy when it prints and when it does whatever it does when it runs for a minute on its own. It's right next to my desk in a small office.
