Summary: I actually just got rid of my LaserJet 6L, replacing it with the . The HP lasted nearly fifteen years (wow!), and was still working when I took it to the recycling center. It needed a good cleaning, and a new toner cartridge, but I didn't think it was worth my time or money to do that.
Summary: This printer is a real workhorse and indispensable for small print jobs. My favorite feature is the slot for holding envelopes, index cards, and other non-standard size materials. I owned a Laserjet 6L for years and was vastly upset when it finally gave up the ghost.
Summary: I've had my LaserJet 6L since 1998. In the 13 years that it's been my primary printer it hasn't had a single paper jam. It DID show the multiple feed problem that these were guilty of, but that was fixed with a free kit from HP.
Summary: We had this printer and love it. One of the best monochrome printers built. When ours took a dive on us we were distraught to find they don't make this model anymore. Finding it here, purchasing it, and easily incorporating it into oour system was awesome. This printer is the bomb!
Summary: I bought this to replace an HP5L which had electronic problems. This printer is in excellent working order, even better than my other 5L. I had just bought a new genuine HP cartridge for the old printer and didn't want to lose the $78 investment I made in it.
