Summary: Purchased this Printer to replace the HP 8000. This was the only printer in its class to run 11x17 paper which is very important to my application. We run more than 2500 pages a week through the printer (All types/sizes of paper)and it has worked very well so far. We had some initial problems with the Tray3 Assembly but HP sent us a new one and it works great now. It has been 3 weeks since purchase and no problems to date.
Summary: Comments about HP LaserJet 5200dtn: I really didn’t like this printer at first look. It just wasn’t easy on the eyes but my husband promised it would be worth the price. It arrived on time and is a very fast machine. I was very impressed. We are able to print about 27 pages a minute and I think it would do good both in the home and an office.
Summary: Comments about HP LaserJet 5200dtn: when my boss told me how much money he spent on this printer, i just felt like he could have done better. But we still haven't upgraded some of our computers and we had to have this one because we could get the LPT port. It does a good job and everybody is happy. Just I think it is too high.
Summary: Comments about HP LaserJet 5200dtn: There's a lack of good printers out there that handle parallel ports, but if you're like me and pretty much require one for some old pc that should have been retired, well HP's 5200 series is it. It prints extremely fast and like always is very clear and crisp. This 5200dtn has duplex printing, which I don't need. I just needed a fast printer that could handle a lot of work from a little old parallel port pc.
Summary: Comments about HP LaserJet 5200dtn: This printer is nothing what I expected. I mean, it is an average working printer, but I personally didn't like it. It seemed to be too big for what it offers, and it is a bit noisy; however, it is decently fast at printing documents. I never got the chance to print out graphics or pictures, so I am not entirely sure how well it works at doing that. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this product to a friend.
