Summary: For the toner cost, this printer is a great little printer. They last forever. This is one of those printers you can apply the saying, "They don't make them like they used to." I buy them for work so I don't have to buy newer printers that break faster and we save quite a bit on toner. Overall, I give it 4 stars, and that's only because they are getting pretty outdated. Other than that I think it's still a good buy.
Summary: It was delivered on time in perfect condition they did a great job I ordered it for a friend but did not know she bought a new laptop with wireless printing and her laptop did not have a parallel printer port so I had to return it .
Summary: I inherited one of these from an old employer. It came with a "JetDirect" card which is/was HP's proprietary ethernet card for printers. It's fairly easy to configure with a static IP (i.e., 192.168.10.10, or whatever) so the lack of USB on this printer or parallel ports on recent computers isn't an issue. The whole thing has been reliable. A few years ago I paid $100 or so for new rollers etc. - no problems.
Summary: My printer died and needed a replacement asap. I wanted the same one I had because I do not like change. I was skeptical of buying over the internet, but thought I would give it a shot. I ordered it and it came to me damaged! Broken pieces of plastic and internal rollers laying all over the inside of the printer! I emailed the seller and they promptly sent another one. When I got this one it came in perfect condition. I hooked it up and it has been working flawlessly.
Summary: I was fortunate enough to snatch up a Laser Jet 5 my employer was discording when upgrading. I am so glad I did. At home, we had several printers, one for each of the 5 computers we owned. We have since gotten rid of those. The cartilages were too expensive, and it was easier to hook the laser jet to the wireless network, which allowed everyone to print from this one computer. This computer is heavy, and it is a dinosaur, but you can't beat the results.
Summary: I did not purchase the HPLaser Jet ptinter. I am having so much trouble getting my $20.00 back or a new Kodak ESP-5 Printhead. I used new #10 cartridges when EBAY sent this printhead to me, and I had great hopes my printer would finally work, what a piece of junkthey sold me. forget EBAY and their BS.
Explain yourself fully to the other person - buyer and seller

Summary: I guess that myself and the seller did fully understand what we were trying to communicate with each other, or perhaps one of us did not fully understand the product. I was looking for a laser printer to perform a certain task with certain material. After receiving the product I found that it would perform what I was hoping that it would do. A friend of mine was looking for a printer like this one, so he bought it from me, and I found the printer I was looking for.
