Took them months and they sent parallel port for my Apple, gave it away.

Summary: I phoned and phoned the seller as months went by. Specified apple in initial order and phone calls. It arrived before I moved. Kept it in the box till I moved to Hawaii. It was parallel port IBM, the oldest model that would not work on my Apple computer. I gave it away, then walked to Office Max and got a brand new Brother Laserwriter that was under a hundred dollars, fast and very high resolution, blowing away what these people sent me. Do not use them...
Summary: I purchased this printer to replace my relatively new inkjet printer and couldn’t be happier. To put it simply this printer works, I plugged it into my router and within 15 minutes had it installed and working on 2 laptops and 2 desktops. The toner won’t dry out or give me the problems I was having with ink. If you’re tired of constantly replacing ink cartages I highly recommend considering this machine.
Summary: Great Printer - I had one of these previously that got struck by lightening - it does everything I need it to do and more. It is a very economical laserjet and I would recomend this machine to anyone.
Summary: I bought it from a fellow on eBay in 2008 and except for needing a $19 transfer roller replacement (jammed pages got toner all over the transfer roller, albeit small specks in scattered places, none of which is the seller's fault) has been a rock solid reliable printer despite my own ineptitude. I have done some really inept things with this printer. But it has withstood it all for going on three years.
Summary: While the printer is nice it is not the n model as advertised. I was expecting it to be network ready and this one is not. Quite disappointing and with an item this big not much can be done to rectify it.
Summary: Prior personal lasers (all HP)- 4ML, 5L, 1100, 1012 before this workhorse 4200. Superceded by 4300 recently (HP refresh 70% of printer range every 2 years!)- so some mega discounts available- (...) Ultimately it/s about being recognised by the computer reliably (I have now dumped Windows XP (the virus crash monster on a Dell laptop) for OSX on an iMac G5- a lot less temperamental with *forgotten* printers); cheap page cost (about the lowest of HP/s stable approx 1 cent...
Summary: I bought this printer for $151 (after S&H) used. The only problem was that I thought it would have an Ethernet port like the 4250 but apparently the 4200 model is parallel only. Not really a problem though when you consider the printer comes with 2 additional connection slots for upgraded connectivity.
Summary: As a semi-retired attorney, I cringed every time I used my very nice home/small business printer to print out 100 pages at a time...(which happens every now and then). So I took a chance and bought this (approximately)10 year old refurbished heavy-duty printer. I had to buy a $35.00 printer/computer cable from radio shack to make it go. But the set-up is just a 'plug and use' and it is wonderful...
Summary: We needed to replace a similar laser printer we've had for years that finally quit working correctly. We decided to get the exact same model (no longer being manufactured) because our Unix server and software is configured for it already. This printer looks like new, even though it was refurbished! Arrived very clean, although they could have used something less messy to pack it in. It was well-packed, but they used lots of Styrofoam popcorn to fill the box.
