Summary: I purchased this as an alternative to burning through inkjet cartridges at home. I use one of these at work, and it's a workhorse, and the toner cartridges last forever, so I knew if I could get a good deal on one, it would last a long time. I also use it when I work from home, and am overjoyed with its capabilities - prints special papers (labels, etc.) and envelopes without issues.
Summary: I bought this one used from a seller for about $120 shipped, which is a steel for these. Little did I know that the fuser was pretty much shot on this unit. Instead of returning it, I bought a new fuser and roller kit for $85 shipped and now this thing works like new! My first one of these was bought new about 12 years ago for home use at a wopping $1200. It still works flawlessly, so I'm going to stick with this printer for as long as I can.
Summary: When I received this printer, it took some tinkering to get it set up on our home network. Once properly set up, it has been running flawlessly ever since. Get printer and very happy with the product.
Absolutely the most awesome product I have every bought, full stop.

Summary: This printer is one of the best things I have ever purchased, full stop. Truly amazing performance. Replace cartridges and it just keeps working, and working and working. Overhauled once just for good measure, and it still keeps working and working and working. Sorry to see it go, but I sold the company, so don't need it.

Summary: Not the fastest gun in the west, but drop-dead dependable. Cartridges and parts are inexpensive and easily obtainable. It moans and groans but cranks out documents without out fail. I go through about a case of paper every three weeks (5,000) pages and it has never failed me.
Summary: This printer is no longer made new by HP. We bought 3 of these printers refurbished. These are the workhorse of the HP printers. 200,000 copies before maintenance needs to be performed. What more can I say???
Summary: The printer had a very low cost for the money and can handle a high volume of printing. The printer is easy to cofigure for the network. We have several of these printers becuase of the high reliability.
Summary: •Why you bought it....After I bought this product for myself and saw the great production of it I told my brother that he has to own one which he did. •What you like most about it...It is very easy and less expensive to maintain •What you dislike about it...Nothing at All....!!!!
Summary: I purchased this printer in order to print checks. It works great! With a manual feed tray right on the front, I don't have to keep expensive check paper in the trays and worry about the printer picking up from the wrong tray. Envelopes are easy from the manual feed tray too. The couple of issues I've ran across so far are: 1. I haven't figured out how to select the default tray to pull paper 2.
