Great printer for the buget minded. Don't expect good pictures.

Summary: I bought this printer for the price. I was looking for a color laser printer for my small business and this fit the position. I do have to keep it unplugged till I need it so the warm up time is about 2 minutes. After that it is a printing monster.
Summary: Initial setup was much longer process than I expected - start at least an hour or more before your first print job.
Pros: Prints good looking color output that won't smear. Prints fast from idle state. Very easy to setup print drivers on additional PCs - my kids are printing directly from their PCs instead of taking over mine.
Cons: Huge footprint! I read that the printer was large, but still wasn't ready for the massive size. I had to move the filing cabinet a couple inches away from the wall to get it to fit on top. Very loud calibration that seems to take place each time I print (only after the printing is done and it mig...
Summary: Print quality is not very great, but just good. It is noticeably worse than HP 1000 dollar printers at my work place, but a little better than my previous 100 dollar samsung ML2010. Actually I did not expect much from 3 hundred dollar color laser printer, so it is okay. Finally, do I recommend this?
Pros: Price is unbeatable. Network ready. Installing hardware and software is like a breeze as always with HP.
Cons: When it is turning on, it is noisier than my truck. I am not kidding. It is absolutely much noisier than my truck being idle. In ready mode, you can hear fan sound from the left side of the printer. Not very loud, but it could be annoying if you use it in your bedroom. In sleep mode, it is very q...
Summary: I really love the quality of this printer (especially when printing on heavy weight paper). I've used this printer for almost a year for receipt prints and product docs for my job, and the toner levels are only a notch from full.
Pros: Very good print quality. Excellent build quality. Toner lasts forever while printing out web docs, 30% color page coverage product docs, and bills. I've printed out at least 4-6 reams of paper, and all the toner bars are one notch from full. Comes with full toner in box (6000 page blk, 4000 per c...
Cons: Replacement toner expensive; Printer will randomly go into calibration cycles between print jobs or after printing has finished.
Summary: Despite all of the review, I bought this primarily for printing labels, I'm not using it everyday, so saves a lot of money from replacing toners. For the price, this is a fine buy.
Pros: Very attractive prints. Color is amazing and it's fast (after it begins printing).
Cons: Very NOISY when calibrating (usually after a sleep). Toner costs about the same as the printer itself, very expensive. Takes longer to receive and begin printing, not really a major con, but for a picky person this might be annoying (I have used both network and USB cable). Using the manual feed ...
Summary: The ownership cost should be low compared to others. One of the criteria for choosing this printer was the cost of the toner cartridges.
Pros: Fast in B&W and Color, excellent quality for the money. Setup was very easy. You have to appreciate the override function down the road when the toner in the individual cartridges finishes. Kudos to HP for selling the printer with full toners. Had a good experience with the HP Customer support as...
Cons: The first printer had something wrong with the manual feed (Tray 1). It is designed poorly anyway and was very crooked, couldn't close easily. Most importantly, it always showed that the paper was jammed. Returned it for a replacement. newegg was great, sent me a new one very fast.
