Summary: I ordered three of these printers for my workplace and we've been using them for over a year. Their performance has been flawless and they use toner sparingly. The body of the printer seems very rugged and they connect to our network easily.
Summary: We have had 6 HP LaserJet 2420 Printers working continuously in our office for years. These printers are some of the best we have ever used [easily printing over 75,000 pages before they need repair. Easy to use, clean, and replace parts.
Summary: HP does not make this printer any longer-more than likely because it is a workhorse that can print close to 100,000 copies before it needs a complete over-haul. We have used these printers either new or reconditioned for years. They outlast the new, more expensive printers hands down.
Summary: This printer has been very sturdy. The rollers do wear out, but they are easily replaced. (Search the web for methods to do it yourself.) It does the duplexing well as well as being on the network.
Summary: We used an HP LaserJet 4M plus for years. The 2420 warms up quicker and prints much faster. Unlike the 4M, the 2420 is silent! In fact, I often forget to turn it off when leaving the office. The descriptions for the 2420 are confusing. The 500-sheet paper tray is NOT included.
Summary: I love this printer we are best friends . This is a replacement for the first one that I still have and now is emergency backup . I am impressed by the 18 month warranty , not that I will need it ! Buy it you will not be disappointed .
Summary: The 2420dn is a great printer and meets every need I have in a mono laser. It's very, very fast, the first page is out in less than 10 seconds. The built-in networking is fast and works great. I was previously using an Intel Netport print server with an HP 1320, and it was just too slow.
