Summary: This printer is a real workhorse. I've been using it for about six years and decided I owed it a review, because I got it used and it still works extremely well. It never jams and does a great job printing on both sides efficiently. I run through a lot of ink, but I print a great deal. The ink would last longer if my employer purchased the HP ink.
Summary: this is one of the best prints out their. this is my second one. it is easy to repair if needed. it just goes on and on. also note I am a computer recycler. I have had several that had came on in with 500,000 copies or more and still working. I gave them away to those in need. also note they are very cheap in printing cost.
Summary: I moved to a more compact location and loved the operation of my HP2200.. after reading a ton of reviews i settled on the HP 1320... this printer is EXACTLY what i was looking for. The noise level is lower then the 2200... seems just as reliable.. easy toner cartridge.. smalller footprint... same paper direction and it duplexes!! I like to use 'used' paper - blank backs of paper that would normally be thrown away - and it works great with that also.
Summary: Very surprised to find this printer available, have 5 in my office and wanted to find another one that I knew was compatible and used the same toner cartridge. Packed beautifully, in great condition and it works great too.
Summary: I own both of the printers below. I will discuss them individually. All prices are approximate 2014 Amazon. 1. Brother HL-2270DW Compact Laser Printer with Wireless Networking and Duplex This machine sells for $100 and is light. You can carry it easily to your car when you travel by car. The cartridge costs $50 and has a duty cycle of 2,600 pages. The quality of the printout is excellent.
Summary: I've had very spotty luck with printers over the years. This printer is a bit slower than some other lasers I've used, but this darn thing just never quits. It almost never jams, the toner seems fairly affordable, all the paper paths seem to work great (envelopes, etc). I've had this for around 8 years in a home office. Couldn't be happier.
Summary: I bought this printer because it's one of the printers that I can use since I don't have access into the computer I'm using it with. There is only a handful of drivers in the computer and one of them is this model. So far, it has worked flawlessly. I got it used for $50 and that was a great deal. A new one at $325 is a little pricey though.
