Summary: HP should have Vista drivers for any printer they current sell. I wasted $90 on this one.
Pros: For future use .. none.
Cons: Vista is the operating system for the foreseeable future. HP has not written Vista drivers for this printer. It cannot be used with Vista. I read an on-line forum about this and one customer stated that HP told him he should buy a different printer.
Cons: No "ON" "OFF" switch. Every month this printer decides to only print 1 page at a time - it says the printer is out of paper but the tray is full. I then have to uninstall and reinstall the printer. HP tech support is a joke.
A great idea gone terribly wrong...don't waste your money!

Summary: This is a great printer until you begin to have spooler issues. It prints quickly & the ink lasts a long time; however, after a short time of satisfactory use you will likely encounter a "print spooler subsystem app has stopped working" error message.
Summary: The printer produces crisp, clear black and white pages. The efficiency of toner usage isn't too bad. But I soon started having major problems with my computer system--all peripherals using USB ports stopped being recognized by my Dell Dimension 2400 running Windows XP.
Great printer, but HP refuses to support Vista (or XP 64-bit)

Summary: I love this printer. But it transformed from a great little printer into a useless piece of plastic when I upgraded to Vista (on one machine) and XP 64-bit (on my other machine). HP's customer support was useless.
Summary: The printer arrived in a box hardly big enough to contain it. Thin cardboard, very thin styrofoam and the printer didn't print. I contacted the seller. The seller sent a "new" cartridge. Still didn't print. The seller then had me send that printer back and sent another printer.
