So far not so good.

Excerpt: I haven't had it long enough to really give it a thorough review but what experience I've had so far is not great. Even though both my computer and the printer are HP the computer will not restart unless I turn the printer off. A minor inconvenience but still I shouldn't have to do that. The color prints are okay. I work in a copy and print department and they are as good as the self serve copiers. The prints come out pretty quick and the set up was really easy.
Summary: My review is average because my printer arrived damaged and I could never get it going right. Installation was pretty quick. The printer is very, very heavy and toner is also pricey. I returned the item because the yellow cartridge exploded and ruined the unit. I had high hopes for this economical printer but will have to find another, hardier type. It do worry me that toner replacement was more than the printer price, roughly $84 per color.
Excerpt: I really enjoy having this printer. I have wanted a laser for a long time. This printer has many good features. The best feature is the ability to use it wirelessly. That makes things much easier and less messy. The colors are bright and so professional. All the items I have printed come out looking very professional. With every item there are a few downfalls. I know the starter ink is only supposed to do approx. 500 prints but I only got 368 before I rand out of toner.
but output is fine. It doesn't always wake up from sleep mode ...

Summary: This printer was very east to set up, and we are using it wirelessly. It prints a little slow, but output is fine. It doesn't always wake up from sleep mode and needs to be hard-reset when this happens.
Summary: I have tried all of the settings and I cannot get this printer to give me an accurate print. All of the work is too dark. I understand that HP may have come a long way in this area [older printers were impossible to adjust density] but I am still not pleased to hit "print" and have to adjust everything I do to accommodate this inaccuracy. Very frustrating. Using the color, contrast, midtone, etc. adjustments make no difference.
the color was better than I was led to believe it would be

Summary: This machine makes a lot of weird noises and will recalibrate from time to time for no apparent reason. It comes with no manual and you must go online for any instructions in it's use. At this point, I'm not so sure I would have purchased it. And this model has no scanner, something I am missing from my old ink jet printer. However, the color was better than I was led to believe it would be. I was also surprised that it was not as fast as I thought it would be either.
Excerpt: Print is ok, there are little red dots on the page when you print a monochrome copy. Most of the new printers I am buying have auto duplex, so far if this has it, that feature doesn't work. Equally inconvenient is the fact that it does not have a manual feed tray (especially since I like to print on both sides). While I can't think of anything that is horrible about this printer there also is nothing spectacular.
