Summary: I bought this hoping to use it to print the occasional downloaded picture...it was cheap and with free shipping seemed an OK deal. While it worked it was OK...but the ink dried up after just a few weeks and replacements are more then the whole printer cost...I should have learned my lesson from the last HP I bought..
Pros: Cheap, decent print quality for price, seems impossible to get a paper jam...did I mention cheap??
Cons: Ink lasted a few weeks and dried up, annoying HP software that is hard to opt out of, noisy when printing (lots of mechanical sounds, clunk etc), seems designed for a disposable world...ink runs out throw it away and buy another one...INK IS RIDICULOUS IN PRICE!!!!
Summary: For years I have relied upon local commercial concerns for supply of this KeyTainer, often, delayed a week or so, by special order/delivery of the exact unit required. I never thought to search Newegg - - my bad. This, a reminder to shop Newegg, first, for all needs.
Pros: Bullet proof construction. Re-keyable door lock. I have installed this system, with each growth need, for my largest property management firm over the last twenty years. They agree it is the finest for their purposes; security, check out control and ease of use. This is the epitiome of a successful symbiotic business relationship. Newegg continues their unparaled customer service --- two day, free delivery!
Summary: Do yourself a favor and avoid HP printers at all costs. The J series printers tend to jam paper, have poor print quality, and subject the user to Hewlett Packard's insidious ink supply demands. These printers are designed to recognize exactly what type of ink cartridge you're using (i.e. a refilled cartridge, a genuine HP cartridge that has been refilled, or an actually genuine HP cartridge bought directly from them.
Summary: I've given up on this printer. As one other review stated, the free ink supplied when I first purchased the printer ran out very quickly. When I replaced the ink cartridges with ones ordered directly from HP, HP window alerted me that the cartridges were incompatible and wouldn't print. When I attempted to call HP for support, I was told that I would be charged per minute to speak with someone since my measly 90-day warranty already ran out.
Summary: I ordered HP 60XL and HP 61XL cartridges for my Deskjet 1000 printer from your company. However, upon installation the printer told me that the cartridges were not original HP cartridges. I sent them back through Amazon. Now, if there is some quirk with the printer so that you can't run both color and black XL cartridges at the same time it would be nice to know!
Summary: I had this same printer for 4 years , after it stopped working i bought a different one had nothing but trouble with it, no stores carried this so i went to Amazon and found it . i had no trouble at all it works great ....
