Summary: Horrible little printer. Never worked well from the first day, just got worse from there. Always a hassle getting it to print, ink goes fast, printer is slow, images are crap. I will take the pleasure of smashing this thing to peices and NEVER buying HP product again. Total junk.
Summary: I bought the printer on the strength of a NY Times glowing price to value review, obviously, the reviewer had never used it. The paper feed and the paper exit overlap and the pages are spewed onto the floor as in an old man vs. machine Laurel & Hardy movie.
Summary: I purchased this HP printer because of the brand name and value. However, after a little over one month after the purchase date, the machine got a permanent paper jam when I turned it on one evening.
Summary: This printer arrived without its USB cable. Bad enough, but just a mistake, I thought, but astoundingly, in the manual, it actually says: If this printer does not come with a USB cable, you should order one. I'm still astounded. Others have had the same happen to them. Unbelievable.
Summary: At this price point I really didn't expect much. I was not disappointed. While the printer is easy to set up and does the job, it has too many faults. There is not a receptacle for the printed sheets.
Summary: I don't know where to begin. This printer hates envelopes. or maybe I should say that it hates some envelopes some days, but not others. It will not print from some applications, some days. I tried everything in it's tool box. Finally, (gasp!) I had to call (off shore) tech support.
Summary: Print quality just isn't that great. I've tried different ink cartridges, but still the same result...streaky printing, and sometimes the colors don't print properly. I've tried recalibrating and doing all of the print tests. Nothing fixed the problem.
