It Is Okay
ACoss72 "ACoss72", Amazon

Summary: This printer worked well for a few years then, like all this rest, died for no reason. It wasn't over used, or even a daily printer for that matter, but it still managed to break. If you're looking for a decent short-term printer than it may be okay for you.
Summary: Bought many printers before but after a time they gave out because I don't print very often. This printer has worked good since the day I plugged it in. Color is great and still prints good even though it may be weeks between printings. Good product, good choice, good for small print jobs. For large multi pages jobs, it does have one problem; it will sometimes pull in the printed page instead of a new piece of paper. I don't print large jobs, so it works for me.
Summary: I have had HP printers for the last 20 years. Loved them, but found ink replacement costs unreasonable. My daughter bought this, told him how easy it was to set up, and how cheap the ink refills are. So I bought it, and LOVE it.
Summary: I was tired of spending a lot of money and then even more on high end printers and all in one's. In the end they all gave trouble and the ink was too expensive to replace.I bought this for about 40 bucks thinking it would work a short time then throw it away. Well it just keeps working so I bought more ink and it exceeded my expectations. It doesn't do anything fancy but if you need just a printer you can't go wrong for the money.
Summary: I have several issues with this machine. -For some reason, installed ink cartridges tend to leak (Maybe this is a commentary on inkjet printers in general). And this is official hp ink product CC640WN (for example) that I'm talking about. Of course, this doesn't happen all the time. But for it to happen 2-3 times in less than a year, when you're only using 5-6 cartridges (counting both black and tri-color) in that time span, is too often if you ask me.
I have just returned it to the shop and I really feel relieved

Summary: Just to confirm that this is really a bad piece of equipment. Very frustrating, we spent a week fighting with the bogus "paper jam" messages, "our of ink" (on a new cartridge!), red-only prints... I was really relieved when I returned it to the shop (I did not buy through Amazon). Next, I will be returning the $25 cable I had to buy because it was not included with the printer. When I was a kid, HP was synonimous with "high-quality, if slightly more expensive, gear".
Summary: We bought this printer for our son, and we're very happy with it. It was easy to set-up/install drivers. Print quality is great for text...pictures are ok. For the price this HP is a good deal.
