Summary: The printer is basic and simple, easy to set up. However, the ad says that a #22 tricolor ink cartridge would be included. There were cartridges in the printer already installed (that means used) and they were both dried up. So, expect to invest in ink cartridges. The cables were in the box. It's not bad for an affordable printer. I only need it for small jobs, so it will work for me. I think it will be fine with new ink cartridges.
Summary: This is a nice printer especially for the money. There are a few problems. Paper jams are a common occurance. It does take a tad too long to print also, but I did not expect great things for a cheap printer. It does the job and doesn't hurt the pocketbook.
Summary: I've gone through several printers in the last few years. I've experienced awful copies, ink that runs out constantly (at $25 or so a pop) or just printers that decide not to work. This one is different. It makes beautiful copies. I don't use it for photos, usually, but both color and b/w pages print clearly every time. The ink has lasted me several months now. This printer is faster than any I've owned. And the design is very nice. It holds up to 80 sheets of paper.
Summary: I printed 2700 or more pages with the original ink. In fast draft setting. Color! Still the colors looked great, even as the pages were rush printed. I then took the cartridges to walgreens to refill, and the ink sucked big time. so, if you run out of ink, just don't refill at walgreens.
Summary: I purchased this printer in April, and it is now October, so I believe that is ample time to provide an accurate review. With that being said, if you need a printer, not all of the photo printing, fax, scanning, etc stuff that most printers come with this is your printer. As stated by others, this printer doesn't come with a black cartridge, or a printer cable. The printer cable shouldn't be an issue for most.
