Summary: This is my third HP Deskjet 970cxi printer. The first one I bought new and the last two from eBay. I've been very happy with this printer that is why I have been using it since 2001! It prints photos, double sided and envelopes.

Summary: This is a overall good color inkjet printer for the money. The Printer allow your to print on various types of formats. From regular printer paper to transparencies, photo paper, envelopes, banner and even Iron on transfers. The paper tray will hold up to 150 sheets of paper and has a monthly print cycle of up to 5000 pages.
Summary: The HP is a great printer and I already have three, but this one didn't work. Summary: This printer may be a bit slow and outdated with respect to new models however: It's print quality is excellent, both color and B&W It's cartridges are re-fillable (using 4" needles) It prints duplex. It's reasonably easy to mainain/repair If your doing a lot of printing, and not in too much of a rush, this is an excellent printer.
Summary: The printer is just what I am looking for in a daily use printer. It prints color and black & white almost endlessly. The cartridges are large and can be refilled or replaced for little cost. Their is no ink level indicator which tells you that you are out of ink when their is plenty in the cartridge. You can refill the cartridges and don't have to worry about a computer chip that doesn't let you do so.
Summary: I love this new old printer. The price was right to take a chance with it. The reason why I bought it was: I am tired of all the claims of all the printer companies of how cheep their printers are to operate. The ink cartridges are expensive and contain a chip which limits how much ink can be used. I receintly bought a Kodak ESP7 printer, copier, scanner. It is expensive to operate, no matter what the adds say.
Summary: I have owned several Epson and HP ink jet printers. Most if not all of these printers have been very inexpensive or have been "freebies" when purchased with a new laptop. All of the Epson "C" Photo series have performed well but suffer from "built in" obsolescence. The heads wear out quickly and once the print count is up, you cannot easily reset the count. Epson quickly manufactures the next series. e.g., C82. C84, C86, C88 etc.
