Summary: I bought this product because I have a similar model in the HP line, and I am pleased with it. It uses ink conservatively, and is sturdier than most printers. Another concern: ink-jet cartridge compatibility.
Don't listen to the whiners - it's a great printer

Summary: Installation is easy if one merely follows the directions. The people writing about problems with the wireless setup are simply inept. I had it set up in ten minutes - nothing could be simpler. The print quality is great.
Summary: I currently own several HP printers that I use at home. HP deskjet 6980 is a very good printer. It gets the job. This printer was purchased to replace the HP deskjet 6980dt (double tray) that I was starting to have problems with.

Summary: The 6980 is a nice machine which I've had for a couple of years now. It prints nice and fast on fast draft and hasn't given me any trouble, despite lots of use. I don't know of an HP printer that doesn't move through a healthy amount of ink, but this printer is as reasonable on ink cartridges as...
Summary: I've had this printer for 3 years and it has NEVER failed on me. First of all, I print mostly documents and this printer has fairly large black cartridge. I've been using re-manufactured cartridges for this printer for a couple of years and they seem to work very well, so basically this printer has...
Summary: My trusty HP 1115 finally bit the dust, so I took a chance on this one. I say chance because I used my HP 1115 to print on fabric and tracing paper for quilting projects. I have tried this on other all-in-one printers only to have my efforts bunched up inside the printer.
