Summary: Have had this printer since 2006, ans has worked flawlessly through Windows XP and now Windows 7. a true basic printing workhorse and well worth the money if all you need is a basic desktop printer that has quality.
Summary: I bought this specific printer to put in my motorhome, as it is same model I have been using for a few years at home. I love it. It does photos well, it takes different weights of paper and is fast.
Summary: Despite being used only occasionally (once a month, max... I had JUST replaced the ink for the first time, and this thing eats ink like no other printer I have had), this printer stopped feeding paper after only a year! The mechanism that feeds the paper somehow "broke" in the middle of a print job. Even when set for "economical" printing, it goes through ink like crazy and the VIVERA replacement ink cartridges are some of the most expensive around!
Summary: This is a great old reliable printer that is easy to install, has great features like being able to print straight from the Digital Camera. There's only a few complaints about it; One the paper tray only holds 100 sheets and the paper path is curved so is not ideal for some adhesive-backed labels and form types and for thicker stock. Some grabbing has happened, and the fact that it only accepts a 93-92 ink(however that is with all printers these days.
Summary: I have owned this printer for 4 years. I used a laser jet for my document printing and this for photos. It came in a computer bundle. I have thrown out far more attempts at photo prints than I have kept. I have used it with Windows XP and Windows 8. With windows 8 the performance has gotten much worse. I am ready to scrap it. Between the price of the cartridges and the price of the Premium Photo Paper photos have become very expensive when you factor in the discard rate.
