Summary: I travel a lot and I wanted a small printer that I could take with me that was durable and light weight. I found the HP Deskjet 460 met all of my expectations and even exceeded them. The color print quality is just as good as my color laser printer at home.
Summary: This is an excellent desk top printer but way overpriced unless it is used for it's intended purpose, wireless. I was disappointed to find I needed to spend more money for software so that my HP PDA would communicate with this printer.
Summary: A little heavy, particularly for the every day traveler. More useful as a printer for those who have limited space and use a laptop. I use it with my MACBOOK PRO. Had no trouble setting it up. Prints quickly for such a small device. Transfer time is quick. Certainly useful up to 15 pages or so.
Summary: I purchased this printer based on its compatibility with my new laptop and the Amazon reviews. Sad to say, but after 3 hours with HP tech support one day and 4-1/2 hours the next, it just wouldn't work.
Summary: The printer works fine when wired with USB cable but I've never been able to connect wireless. When I called HP for help I talked to someone who spoke poor english and she gave gave me a number for tach support. The number was no longer in service.
Summary: I really liked the unit because as a contractor I need to type up estimates at customers houses and this fits the bill. I could not configure the wireless bit for my macbook pro but I just use it with the cables. A good workhorse.
Summary: After having suffered thru three years with a Canon 450 portable printer, the 460 is a nice improvement....better paper feed and faster B and W printing. It also allows for wireless printing, which i have yet to use. Happy with the purchase.
