Works great, recommend to those that do business/need printouts on the go
10 November 2011
Summary: Works great for a used product. Having difficulty printing out more than 50 pages without it stalling, but I guess that's asking a bit too much of this little guy. Other than that, it works just fine! A lot better quality than my old dell printer.
Summary: Some people may balk at the printer's price, but come on... not only does it have bluetooth and a compactflash slot, it also prints on paper! 8.5 x 11, 4 x 5, 8 x 10... you name it, it can print on it. 3.5 x 6... I could go on and on. 7 3/4 x 12...
Summary: Remember people, most of the price goes into the pure gold ink. It uses the gold ink to emphasize your written threat of using the "friggin laser beam" to those countries who do not accommodate your demands. It's nicely slimmed down for those last minute runs through the time portals. BTW, the text is sharp for a portable.
Summary: Extremely Pricey so unless you get a great deal on eBay or absolutely MUST be mobile save some money and buy a top of the line desktop printer or all-in-one. The 460wbt is a very good printer for mobile use when printing text and graphics. It certainly is not a photo printer but does an amiable job on a rush picture away from home. It makes a great addition to salesman's tool kit and will certainly impress the customer with instantly printed quotes and receipts.
Summary: I got the Bluetooth version of this printer and I paired it with a couple of Sony Vaio laptops. So far everything has worked extremely well. Printouts are better than I expected from a inkjet. The fact that it can travel and run off batteries is a huge plus! This printer hasn't let me down yet. The only thing that I wasn't so jazzed about was the size.
Summary: *** UPDATED June 9th, 2007 *** I have just installed my new 460WBT printer and discovered that wi-fi is NOT included in the 460WBT. It only comes with a Bluetooth card. I must have miscommunicated with the gentleman at HP when I understood him to say wi-fi is included in both the WF and WBT. In order to use wi-fi with this printer, you have to buy a wi-fi card (or purchase the 460WF, but then you wouldn't get the Bluetooth card).
Summary: I haven't used the BT, so cant review that aspect of the printer. Overall, it's a dependable printer. The battery life is good. I carry a Dell E1505 and the HP DJ 460 in a back pack with no problem.
Summary: Funcaionality 5 stars. Design 4--the Canon is much smaller and will inroduce in April bluetooth and wifi connetivity. PORTABILITY 3 1/2 stars a bit bulky for airline on the go travel. VALUE--A BIT EXPENSIVE PRICES RANGE FROM $220 TO $312. I was a bit disappointed that at this price there was no wifi card only bluetooth. Ita a $69.00 option available only from HP or on teh net. OVERALL IT IS A a GREAT PRINTER--I PURCHASED two.
Summary: I love this printer! I bought it becuase I travel a lot and it's much easier to set up this printer in my hotel room (or anywere else) then to always have to run to the business center. I've actually replaced my large printer with it since I live in a small space and it takes up so little room. I've synched it up wirelessly with my computer and it's a snap to print just about anything I need, although I have not tried to print pictures yet.
Summary: I have owned the Canon BJC portable printers in the past and they have worked flawlessly, but the package HP has put together with this printer can not be beat. The ease of installation, wireless capability, and the battery life have earned it 4 stars. It is bulky as compared to the competition, but it makes up for this in other areas.
