Summary: Lets be clear. This is a re purposed printer that has been used. I needed a small printer in case I needed to print out my log book pages if requested by authorities when i’m on the road. I had to get an a/c adaptor and ink for it as well. So for around $100 I have a printing solution when I’m on the road. Not a bad deal. I did the download driver thing for Windows 8.1 and hooked it up with a USB cable and I’m all good to go.
Summary: I've carried an HP 460 around through 100 or so airports for about 10 years. It is very reliable, for b/w/ printing. Not so great on color-very very slow and the image isn't true but for b/w it's great.
Summary: I have no problems at all with this printer. It takes up very little space, is lightweight, and easy to set up and use. Though the battery and wireless card with our printer model were optional, I don't see any problem upgrading. It prints B@W very fast - faster than my HP Photosmart C4810 All-in-One. It worked perfectly with our Dell laptop.
A big improvement over my last inkjet printer and a problem solved to boot.

Summary: I love the engineering of the HP 460. I've been using it since February 2007 and so far it has worked well. I experience no problems installing this printer with any of my computers. There is a magnetic catch on the output door that the software opens automatically when you send a print job which is great for preventing a paper jam (if the door were to remain closed).
Summary: I got this printer a couple months ago and it is a pretty good printer, although for "portable" is is big. The model I got was the "network" model that came with a WiFi dongle. Every attempt I made to install the software failed with a crash on my Vista, Windows XP, and Windows Server 2003 computers. A newer update from the HP website also failed to install. The installation must have installed the drivers OK because the printer works fine using a USB cable.
Summary: I feel this was an excellent buy! I haven't used the product very much, however I tested by printing a few pages, good color and speed...I'm not sure about the wireless function, yet. I'm sure it works! I will note that HP ink is very expensive!
