Excerpt: I used to have an HP printer that I just loved, so I decided to try the HP Deskjet 450cbi printer. I’ve been looking for a great printer for several months, and I always end up disappointed. I’m not thrilled with the HP Deskjet 450cbi, either, and now I …
Summary: This printer was intended to replace a similar battery powered HP printer I had previously. Unfortunately, it worked for 2-3 weeks, then I started having problems. I will never buy another HP printer again.
Summary: I am very happy with this printer which I have used for over one year. It has outlasted by regular desktop printer which is saying a lot considering it is a portable printer and subject to some expected abuse while traveling.
Summary: The 450 CBi is a great printer out of the box. Unfortunately, the paper feed mechanism becomes [..] over time, and after a couple of years the printer becomes virtually unusable. It's also not nearly as durable as the old 350 series - an essential if you intend to use it as a MOBILE printer.
Summary: I got a new laptop this year, and it came with a free Dell Printer/Scanner/Copier thing, which I was pretty excited about, but it turned out it was HUGE. Took up waaaaay too much desk space in my already cramped dorm room, so at a friend's recommendation I got the HP 450 CBi. It's amazing.
Summary: I heavily use the HP 450CBi daily. Usually print 75 to 100 pages of Docs per day. Battery life is good. Print quality is good. Print speed is acceptable for a portable. Durability is questionable. I keep it clean and in its own protective case. I am on my THIRD HP450CBi printer in 9 months!
Summary: I purchased a 450 CBi so I could use the Bluetooth technolagy with my HP ipac 2215. The printer is clearly advertised as having Bluetooth connectivity. Upon receiving the printer the information included indicates that a HP Bluetooth printer card is required priced at $97.00.
Summary: I spend a lot of time on the road and I use a lot of different types of printers. The HP is over priced for what you get. Keeping in mind you can buy a pretty nice printer for $300 today. It is much slower that advertized at 9 PPM black. It is more like 1 minute per page.
