Excerpt: This printer is one such noisy device. It’s not also noisy, it’s shaky everytime it’s printing. It’s a very crappy device that prints out poor quality images on either a photo paper or bond paper. It’s a waste of ink and energy at home, and money too.
Excerpt: I bought an HP 3920 in 2007. It was in fact the cheapest model that time. I was banking on it because I have no budget for a better model. Besides I thought I would use the cheaper printer first then buy another one when I have the money. I like the product. It could print fast and the pictures and texts are very clear. My only regret in buying it was that it didn't last long. I brought it to the repair shop and it worked again but only for a few weeks.
Excerpt: I have been using this printer for more than one year and I am quiet happy with its performance but simply, It could be a little better. HP deskjet 3920 takes its position seriously for a simple printer. Also the price is much cheaper than others. Though my printer is older than 1 years, I don't print very often but I am already out of cartidge. I usually use my printer to print out my homeworks and school reports. It's printing speed is not the best I must say.
Pros: simple,affordable,easy to use
Cons: grabs several paper and makes a mess sometimes, slow printing,
Excerpt: Almost 6 months today using my 3920. No single trouble so far. Even though use it to print in many media, like Photo Paper or Plain one for dozen a day. Photo printout lasting depends on the media, but still perfect result. couldn't compare it with it's price so cheap. When installing new ink cartridge please pay attention on these: Never touch on the head, always put it in safe place and close the head carefully with plastic tape if it is not in use.
Summary: The HP Deskjet 3920 is a perfectly adequate basic home printer. It prints reasonably quickly on the draft quality setting which is fine for the text documents I generally print out. High quality settings are not startling but they're ok, fine for most of the colour printing I do. Perhaps not really up to printing photos on a regular basis, but fine for the odd one. The cartridges don't have much ink in them so it's definitely worth buying a refil kit.
