Summary: Garbage. Worst printer we've owned. Ran into an issue where we could not get black ink to print and spent hours troubleshooting and seeking solutions. Nothing helped. This is the last HP we will buy. Stay away...
Summary: Out of the box, I was able to install the included ink cartridges without problem. I was able to recognize over my WiFi, scan a picture, and have it on my computer via wireless. Printing was another matter all together. I can't get this thing to print the same picture or page of text repeatedly in color and have all the same colors appear from one page to the next. Once blue is blue, then the next page the same feature is pink, then the next page it has no color.
Summary: Terrible! Every time it sits idle, it won't turn on and print. The green light slowly blinks and none of the buttons work, not even the power button. I have to unplug it and reset the printer for it to turn back on. Once it is on, it works OK, but connection is lost regularly. More than one sheet feeds into the printer and I have to hold the paper to make sure this doesn't happen. Ink cartridges are expensive too.
Summary: Have been using it for only a few days but no problems so far. Easily installed and set-up, so I didn't require assistance. Haven't yet figured out how to print from my cell phone, but that's my next task and I have no doubt that I'll be able to accomplish this on my own as well. I would recommend this printer.
Summary: Do NOT buy this printer. It is cheap and always always jams with the paper. Sometimes even pulls in the paper sideways. Every 10 tries, you might get a good, correct printing but you have to keep trying for it to grab the paper right.
Summary: purchased new and purchased 2 year extra whatver coverage. Paper jams ( I buy the elite stuff), loses ip address all the time, "offline" constantly, and says it busy when i haven't printed anything in days. Use it for college and have never been satisfied with it. I would take it back but I'm afraid they will give me the same pos. I have been on hold for 42 minutes with hp support as I type.
