Summary: This is a decent copier. I got it for cheaper than Newegg (I was shocked Newegg could be underpriced by a box store, even after tax). I don't plan to use it as my default printer as I have a B&W Brother Laser for that. All I wanted was a networked copier, and this one fits the bill nicely.
Pros: It copies as well as prints and scans from ANY computer connected to the network. It was ridiculously simple to setup: push WPS button on both printer and router and then run CD. It is even "plug and play" compatible as a network printer in Mac Lion.
Cons: The ink cartridges are a bit small (unless you get the XL sized ones). The regular ink seems cheaper than other inks except its only rated 200 prints black and way less for tri-color. The only other con, though it is not a con for everyone, is that the paper feeds from the top, which tends to all...
Summary: Good for occassional printing but a lightweight if you need a printer every day and multiple times. I bought this for my husband's man cave. It's fine for what he needs. I don't care for the upright paper loader. Flat is always better.
Summary: I have always had a HP desk jet printer but this is the worse one I have ever had. Sometimes it just stops printing and I can't connect with the printer. Half of the time I can't figure out how to get it fixed but finally it will print. It has been a pain in the B---.
Summary: It's nice considering how cheap it is, but you're better off buying a better one in my opinion. I purchased it because I'm a student with a laptop and a desktop, and need access to regular printing. It's a very moody printer, as well as very noisy.
