Summary: I've had this now for a couple of weeks and it's fantastic. It performs exactly as advertized. The prints are good/great quality and there are settings for quality vs. speed. I noticed some lines when printing large color graphics, but I guess that's to be expected. Perhaps setting it for highest quality/slowest speed will fix that. I have the 24" roll and the 11x17" paper installed simultaneously. Somewhere I read that the roll has to be removed.
Summary: I am a draftsman, I bought this printer about 6 months ago from HP w/ shipping & tax for $1200 total. It is not the best printer to print movie posters with, but for its price you cant go wrong. I've been using it for ArchD size paper. I print architectural drawings/blueprints for designers and contractors Its cheaper then running to staples, saves me time, money and keeps my clients happy.
Summary: Replaces a HP 110, which I used as single sheet feed only. I like the roll feed feature on the T120, except for the fact that you have to unload the roll to switch to single sheet feed. So far seems to be a good replacement for 110, time will tell on ink cartridge life.
Summary: I will really say thanks to the vendor because the printer came on time, I found no scratches or anything visible so far, I am still waiting for a USB cable to install it... It doesnt' say on the specs that... well that is not a problem as it is stated on the manual. So I wont complain, I will update this when I start using it, but it is beautiful...
Summary: I bought this printer for use by the third grade teaching team at my school. Our main use is printing instructional posters. Fast, quiet, reliable and excellent print quality for our purposes.
Summary: The printer performs well at most tasks but falls short when need to change paper size. Lost is the ability to print from 11x17 sheets when 24" roll is loaded. You must unload the roll to use cut sheet feeder. The old 110nr unit this replaces had no such problem. HP dropped the ball again.
Summary: So far so good -- but we have not tried it out for all it`s functions yet... it`s quick, quiet and great for our cad work. not crazy about having to unload roll feeder to use other paper... so we have not tried that part yet.
Summary: Upgraded to a T120 plotter from a 430C that I have been using for about 12 years. Modern technology is awesome. The new plotter is much, much faster than the old. Would HIGHLY recommend this plotter for anyone that was a high quality machine for a very low price.
