Summary: Had this for about a year or so now. Setup is easy and there are some decent software tools to help get it calibrated right. Ink holds out for a while and there are plenty of options as far as refillable cartridges. This equals much less money spent on ink. It has performed without much issue.
Summary: Purchased 40 days ago to replace my 7 year old HP 110nr. Working great so far. Beware this did not come with a roll a stand. It appears that if you purchase directly from HP you will get a stand included.
Summary: All my printhead except the black printhead clogged after purchasing it for the first one month. But the printer has been great and have been using it since March 2011. Great printer for its price.
Summary: We have printed roll after roll on the 130R, and it hasn't skipped a beat yet. No complaints here. The quality of the print is great. We use the machine to print all sorts of posters and different things. The cutter works well and we haven't had a single clog or issue with the print nozzles.
Summary: I had been looking for an easy to use, economical large format printer, this printer fills that job well. It arrived quickly and was brand new as described. It was easy to setup and start printing. I use to for large format posters and fills that need.
Summary: Received our second 130 a few weeks ago and it's working great just like our 4+ year old 130nr, no problems with either. We printed 88 D size prints for a project in one day without a single hiccup.
Summary: Great idea having replacement printheads, seperate from ink. HUGE ink cartridges, good for 1000's of 22x34 plots of circuit board layouts (80% page coverage at draft inkflow settings). The roll feeder is a great idea when it works which is only when you do not have a rush job.
Pros: Excellent price for a large format ('D' 22"x34") printer. Very low ink usage. (On the order of 1000+ 22x34 plots on the first set of cartridges) Excellent print quality. Low noise levels. With the roll feeder, you can feed it a 20 page job, go out for lunch and have it be done when you get back (...
Cons: I have the optional Roll feed. Very Irritating. When the paper mis-feeds plan on spending 30 to 45 minutes (and lots of cussing) to get it running again. I have used as a plotter for 4 years and have now used 6 printheads and 6 ink cartridges. ALWAYS keep a spare set of printheads on hand if you ...
Summary: this is my third large format printer and by far the easiest to use. great looking prints. I do not even bother making copies anymore i just print more. the only problem is you have to unroll the roll feed to use the other formats.
Summary: The HP designjet 130 (nr or not) is pure TROUBLE, I hope this review will save anyone the trouble and money I wasted on this unit and if so this is worth telling. After buying this unit I had multiple problems with paper loading (rolls & regular sizes), settings and endless trouble with the...
