Summary: Can't beat this printer. Speed. Dependability. Performance on many different media. On card stock, heavy paper, glossy (biz cards, flyers, post cards, etc.) A real online champ on my LAN (no drops or lost print jobs.) Great DX printing, saves paper and good s/w to monitor toner status even on refilled carts HP cannot be beat. This printer uses 4 color carts and can print high rez on thick stock up to card board .
Summary: We have several of these printers. We purchased most if not all off of EBAY. They do a great job for the price. They are basically unrepairable and when they are at end of life or quit working save for parts.
Summary: When the printer finally prints, it is fine. However, multiple times throughout the day the printer recalibrates itself in a very loud and annoying fashion. This is particularly annoying when you on the phone and the person on the other end can't hear you because your printer is as loud as a vacuum cleaner behind you. It also periodically cleans itself very loudly and has long delays before it prints while it recalibrates, cleans and does self maintenance.
Summary: I've had this printer about a year and it is still working great. Happy with this purchase. I do have problems with generic toner though. The machine works great with HP toner, but I get powder splatter marks all over the first piece of paper out of the machine each time, when I use generic toner. Just a heads up people.
Summary: I have owned this color laser printer for a couple of years. I found the price competitive and cost-effective to operate. I have not had a single issue with the device. I highly recommend the printer to others needing a color laser printer for a home or small office.
Summary: Purchased this printer 3 years ago because of the duplex printing function. It was also on sale for 450. Color printing wasn't a priority for me, but it's nice to have. Just to note, I use non-retail cartridges. The replacement cartridges from HP run from 90-100 dollars, something I can't afford. But the $40 alternatives last only a year or so. The non-retail cartridges also drain down, even when I only use black, which is odd.
Summary: just over a year old and coming up with "cleaning" after one page then "misprint". this HP is a POS not worth $100 if it starts acting up after one year. don't think about buying this HP, keep looking.
