    Assuming you allow for lasers' newsletter-illustrations rather than framed-prints photo output, you won't be disappointed in the HP's print quality. Times New Roman text was legible in sizes as low as 6 points, though fancy script fonts predictably weren't, and black text was darker and crisper than the default output of numerous low-end lasers we've tested.     You can’t expect a £140 colour laser printer to demonstrate the very latest in performance and quality. However, for those who primarily want decent graphics, and who would also like to occasionally run off text jobs, this printer is better than its low price tag would suggest.     You probably wouldn’t guess the price tag from the HP CP1215’s looks alone. It’s not the most eye-catching printer we’ve seen, but the casing is sturdy enough. Perhaps the slightly loose sliding mechanism on the paper tray is a hint, and we did need to wrestle with the printer for a few minutes before getting it to work. Sadly the majority of lasers also follow the HP’s lead in providing very limited printed documentation. Read more

    There are some good points about the Color LaserJet CP1215, such as its small size, ease of maintenance and good text print quality. However, it's also pretty slow, offers over-saturated colours and has no Mac support. Then there's that rather silly flap at the front and no multi-purpose feed slot. Not one of HP's best designs.     I noticed in all the reviews that this printer looses its colored ink fast. I bought this printer off Craigslist, in May, for $70 thinking I wouldn't have to change color toner cartridges. The majority of printing that I do is print black and white Quickbooks invoices. I've probably printed 20 pages of color during these six months. So what gives? Read more

    I bought this colour printer even though most of the printing I do is black and white (cause it's supposed to be less expensive). For the most part, I use the 'print in black and white ' feature. Having owned the priner for less thsn a year now, I have replaced the b&w cartridge once (which is fine) and have printed maybe 25 pages in colour at most. Today when I went to print in colour, the printer told me I had 1 colour page left for all the colour toners. Read more

    I have owned two HP color laser printers in the past 6 years, a 1500L which lasted a very long time, however was ponderously slow, and the consumable price for that obsolete model was too outrageous to replace the cartridges. I replaced that with a CP1515n (is the same as the CP1215) and for 1 year and 1 day had excellent print results. The quality and registration were superb, and the speed reasonable for a home office. However after that it stopped working. Read more

HP Color LaserJet CP1215 Printer is a color laser ink jet printer. Among its main features include color and monochrome printing, ColorSphere toner formulation, ImageREt 2400, 12 pages per minute (ppm) in black and 8 ppm in color and energy saving.

Features

The Color LaserJet CP1215 Printer enables user to print in both color and black and white printing. Besides that, it features ColorSphere toner formulation and ImageREt combined to deliver vibrant and bold colors on the prints. In addition, it also saves space. It delivers 12 pages per minute in black and 8 pages per minute in color allowing user to print in high speed. Also, it enables to print on other materials and user can select material by a collection of pre-configured printing shortcuts including envelops, cardstock and glossy paper. Also, it consumes low energy as it uses less than 50% than normal traditional printer. It comes with a 125-sheet output bin and a 150-sheet multipurpose input tray for large print jobs. It is built with 264 MHz processor and 16 MB memory allowing it to perform multiple print jobs in sequence and also complex print jobs. Moreover, it includes pre-installed introductory print cartridges that yield approximately 750 pages of color and 750 black pages.
