Summary: I can't believe these are still around. I owned one a few years back. For a hundred bucks, if u get one in good working condition with full toner, you should be pretty happy. From what I remember, it is slow and loud like the trolls mentioned. What sticks out in my mind was image quality. It is just so so. Not sharp, not vibrant in color, maybe even a little blurry. Just kind of blah, Forget about photo quality! Maybe I had the wrong drivers, idk.
Summary: OK, I have owned this model of printer for about five years now. I got tired of the slow, messy, cheesy, ink jet printers and decided to go for a quality color laser printer. As an IT Professional and someone who supported business class laser printer, I knew that HP provides quality. In my opinion, this printer makes a great personal printer and could be used in a small office. The HP 2500 color laser cannot keep up with the demand of a high volume office.
Summary: We use this printer at work. It sucks...makes a ton of noise but nothing ever comes out. It takes literally 10 minutes for the first sheet to come out after a bunch of blinking lights and noise. Have you ever seen the movie Office Space. Well this needs to be "office Spaced" and destroyed with a bat. When print out comes out it's all covered in random ink. The paper get's jammed all the time and lights just blink for no reason.
Summary: It's slow piece of junk. And I mean SLOW. I've had to use this thing for the last two years at my work. It's been an experience similar to the one they had with the printer on the movie Office Space. The sad part is that I work in a computer support office. Of all the printers we support this is the worst one. But it's the one we're stuck with. The guy who gave it 5 stars must be employed by HP. Don't buy this or you will be sorry. Pros: None. Cons: Horridly slow.
Summary: I just bought this thing from Amazon and all I can say is WOW!!!! This is probably the best purchase I have ever made. This thing is everything I ever expected and more!! It's easy to use as well - even my wife can operate it! I have to say, everyone out there who is thinking of buying this, stop thinking. I bought it and I am extremely happy with it the moment I powered this thing on. YOU ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY CANNOT GO WRONG WITH THIS PURCHASE! I GUARANTEE IT!!!
Excerpt: "...just ordered a range of HP 2500n and HP 3500n printers throughout their UK offices (about 20 offices in total). We recommended the newer HP range as the company have used the old 4000 series LaserJet for years, and the staff are pretty familiar with them. Upon the first installation of a 2500n last year, we went ahead and popped one onto the network to backup their existing monochrome laser printer. Because of the large amount of users, we setup ...
