Summary: Been through many printers at home & office. The 1200 seems to be very good. Time will be the true test.
Pros: Excellent product. Ink cartridges are generous. Duplex feature = A++. Drivers & toolbox software work flawlessly. Firmware upgrade available on HP website.
Cons: None so far but it's only been 1 week. Why can't HP include a USB cable? Are the bean counters that tight? HP could take a big chance and include an $8 cable which saves me another ten dollar trip to the store to buy a non-HP branded cable.

Cons: This printer is much larger than most inkjets and requires a short warm up period before it will print.
Summary: You cannot go wrong with this printer! it is just a printer so if you want copy and scan capabilities, get a scanner to go with it. It is well worth it, though. It gives off clean crisp, sharp images no matter if it is text. graphics or photos.

Summary: I recently purchased this printer because as a grad student I have been printing lots of papers and images. This printer has worked flawlessly and is very fast on draft mode. The duplexing feature is convenient, but is very slow.
