Pros: I have owned this printer for about 3 years. Just by accident I found that it does a GREAT job on color printing, except that you have to set up a 5x7 print as a custom size. The colors are truer than my HP Photosmart D7360. Large ink cartridges!
Cons: I wish it had a setting for 5x7 prints and more selections to choose what kind of photo paper to print on.

Summary: I have a digital printing shop and need print constantly; print with two ink cartridges printers models it's very expensive and slowness. The HP 1200 work with good speed and is easy to sit up it, a ink continuos system. This was my form to solve the problem, while I found a best discontinuity to work.
Summary: The HP 1200 is a sound printer. The photo quality is great. We also use it for producing the newsletters for the fourth grade class my wife teaches and we like to print in color. It also has the ability to print on thick or thin paper and on both sides. It also uses four ink cartridges and four print heads. The challenge is the health of these. Ink is easy, but the printheads are sometimes challenging. At this time. I need two more printheads.
Summary: I bought two of these when they first came out in the fall of 2004. The fast print speed and ink volumes attracted me to this printer since I print approximately 2000 pages a month. One of the two brand new units printed white streaks across the page right from the start. Other revewers have mentioned this problem on similar models. After speaking with customer service they agreed it was defective and exchanged it no hassle for a new one.
No USB Cable Included, but a snazzy printer nonetheless!

Summary: We bought this unit for our new home-office. It arrived in record time, earlier than expected! What surprised us most was the size of the printer box. It was massive. The printer itself is huge as well, much larger than expected. But, we're getting a bang for the buck here...it's fabulous. You'd think we had a laserjet printer! Printing in black and white is crisp and clear, and the color imaging, brilliant.
