Summary: This printer has many baffling design decisions. Here are some examples. To print, you must manually open the front of the printer and pull out a paper receiving tray that's inexplicably connected to some resistive gear mechanism. This may feel like you're disassembling the printer, but you're not. To refill the paper supply, you must pull the front of the printer by its hinges.
Summary: We have cycled through Canon and HP printers and always disappointed when they fail after 2 years, so we thought we would try Epson. This printer is annoying compared to the other two in just about every way. The black-on-black controls probably look cool in a well-lit lab or Epson boardroom, but in a typical printer storage area, you have to break out a flashlight to see what you are doing. Also, all of the trays are haphazardly situated and hard to figure out.
Does NOT print black and white if one of the color cartridges is out!

Summary: Buyer beware! This printer works fairly well and the print quality is good. However, there is one major flaw I have come across. YOU CANNOT PRINT IN BLACK AND WHITE IF ONE OF THE COLORS IS OUT. Today I sat down to print out a document and it notified me that the cyan cartridge needed to be replaced. I tried to print in black and white, since that is what I needed, and it still didn't work.
Excerpt: Pro: Penny for penny I suppose its worth the cost. On and off are quick. How to preform most functions is transparent. Excellent pages per minute and sharp color output. Con: it is without a sheet feeder. sharp colors comes at a cost as your ink life is reduced, thus your material costs are greater than one might expect. the need for five toner cartridges came a shock.
Summary: install from cd was a disaster - sw showed creation date of 2012; when permission asked for modifying the computer it showed "unknown author", after install screen came up & I pressed install, screen just went blank with no further action; impossible to install; for many customers this would mean a call to support, wasting everyone's time & total frustration a the user's end - inexcusable fortunately, I tried sw download and all proceeded w/o further problems; if that's...
Excerpt: The printer is pretty basic,,,,It prints from wi-fi or Lan but it has only one paper tray plus a photo tray. That means that you have only one source for your paper so anytime you want to print an envelope or card stock or print on the back of scrap paper you have to remove the paper your using and install the paper you want. It also DOES NOT have a rear feed which my last printer had to print heavy card stock.
Summary: Ink cartridges have been very hard to fine for this printer in stores. Also, it uses up the ink cartridges very quickly, and worst of all, when a color of ink runs out, you cannot continue to print at all - even just using black for plain black & white printing. I regret buying this printer, and would advise others to purchase a Canon or HP.
Summary: stay away, this printer goes through ink way too fast. I have used Epson printers in the past and the ink lasted a reasonable amount of time. not this one, This printer drinks ink even at low quality settings...
Summary: When you can get the ink to last, it prints great photos, Blacks at really black, colors look great. Installing ink is another matter. Always have to clean the ink heads and always checking the ink pattern. I've wasted 5 cartridges and I still don't have my prints. Over $200 dollars in ink and I still don't know if I'll get a print.
Summary: I am 76 and have owned many printers since about 1981. This one had my head going in circles. When I ordered it I know it said wireless but had no idea that the cable that connects to the computer was not included. I do not have wireless. Also they did not include the power cord which they were supposed to. They sent me one and took about a week to receive. It also took quite a while for me to understand enough to print my first paper.
