Excerpt: I bought this printer primarily to print labels onto CD's and DVD's, for which it does a great job. For average printing though, not so good. In color images it seems to use more ink than it should and when it does the print comes out still wet. My biggest complaint though is how slow it prints. Prints with any color graphics can take more that two minutes. Print quality is pretty good, but I will use other printers for routine printing.
Excerpt: Pretty compact for an all-in-one, two sided printing speed is pretty good, print quality is good for a low cost printer. It uses a lot of ink, so you better use XL cartridges. Will not print if any ink cartridges are empty, even if you are printing in B&W and out of a color ink. The first printer quit accepting new cartridges in less than a year of light use. Epson replaced it under warranty. Will see if this one lasts longer this time.
Excerpt: All functions I have used are OK. However, the background colors in printing are not very true to the screen background colors. Greens and blues are too dark, reds and browns are somewhat washed out and not very deep, yellow and orange seem fairly true. At times, faint vertical lines appear running through solid colors, generally aligned with cell boundaries in excel, even when grid lines are not displayed.
Excerpt: Uses way too much ink - not printing excessively but ink cartridges do not last long at all. Also do not like the way you have to change the tray every time you switch to legal paper. I thought I had researched printers and that this one would do what I needed to do church bulletins but I wish I had bought a different one.
Excerpt: nothing but trouble when trying to utilize it wirelessly. finally gave up and plugged it in and now it works fine. wish it had come with its own wire since it really is not a truely wireless item.
Excerpt: I like that the Epson all-in-one is compact, nice looking on my desk and prints out high quality documents. I haven't had much luck with quality photo prints yet. But they were sent from my computer - that may be the problem - as opposed to a memory card. It is a very noisy little rascal and takes a bit of time to receive the document(s) to be printed from the computer. Mine uses an internet connection, which I like.
Excerpt: The printer itself is too dark. Being all black makes it hard to find the trays. We moved it up out of the built in printer roll out drawer to the top of the desk and that helped the access somewhat. The paper tray could be bigger. The instructions for changing the ink were surprisingly difficult to find.
Excerpt: It is real nice printer I dread having problems with ink that seems to refuse to print or leaving white lines on or black lines on.....same as my past NX 400. Is the fourth Epson printer. The first two Epson printers never had that problem when bought new. XP 600 has problems with ink first time after I bought it! Hopefully I can get it fixed with support or return to store to exchange if necessary.
