Summary: Myself and a friend had one each that last around 2 years. For some reason would not recognize cartridges. How ever did have great print quality, and reasonable price. We did order one each again so we could use the print cartridges we still have on hand company ink is outrages in price. Too get reed of cartridges would be the cost of another printer.
Summary: While not the greatest printer, the WorkForce 30 is perfect for my use. It has great printing speed, a rear feed so it is easier to print envelopes, and a relatively low price. I work the printer very hard and expect to get just a year out of it, but with the price and speed, it makes sense for my use.
Summary: Printer does an excellent job and seems to do everything it is supposed to do. Its one weak point is with ink. When one ink cartridge runs dry and any others have ink, the printer quits printing. I can find no work-around to make it print. Epson needs to sell ink to make much of a profit, but this method is too extreme. I doubt that I will buy another printer from Epson.
Summary: Good printer, happy with it. Disappointed that Epson does not provide USB cable with printers, quite a delay if living in a remote area. Epson should state cable is not supplied so it could be ordered at the same time as printer when buying directly from Epson on line
Summary: So I ordered a Workforce 30 inkjet and when it was mailed to me I got sooo excited to use it. I plugged it in and did the installation according to the directions. But I had two lights flashing, the ink light and the trash light. I looked in the guide to figure out what it meant, come to find out it meant a part needed to be replaced. A brand new printer already needing a part replaced, what is that!?
Summary: at first i was not getting it connected and wondered was it damaged goods. I then tried a new USB port cord and it worked fine - but software didn't connect it - if it had something that told me it may be a bad cord it would have been cool.

Summary: This is the second Epson printer I've owned. There were several years between the first one and this one. Remarkably, this one has the same problem that the first one had. Epson seems not to like HP computers. I had to periodically reinstall the first Epson I had. I had this one hooked up for less than a week and only used it once when I had to reinstall it. Despite that very annoying problem, it's ok on everything else. The speed of printing is very impressive.
