Summary: Although the printer hasn't failed me yet, if left alone for the weekend it prints funny. The lines are off, and some areas just don't print, until you clean the heads. It's also noisy. When printing, it lets you know it's definitely printing. The print may only need black, but if the other colors are empty, it won't print. All and all a cheap printer, but has a few faults. Not all around friendly.
Summary: Miss feed all the time, it's good for kids to play with but not for sublimation products. If I'm in sublimation business, I'd like to have something with better paper handling, faster, better qaulity
Summary: Don't know if I will buy another epson. This printer does not like card stock paper, it won't print on allot of the #10 envelopes it jams. Just aboutbthe only thing this printer likes is the plain copy/printer paper. I own two of these printers and I should have saved my money.
Summary: I stupidly bought 2 of these printers. After you have it for awhile, it will say that the ink is unrecognizable. This is true even though I just put in brand new ink. Then, the printer won't work. I went through this over and over again. The last printer I bought I had to throw away because of this same problem. Save your money. Don't buy this printer.
Summary: this printer goes through ink like no tomorrow. Not only did I just buy NEW ink but I have yet to print ANY color pages and it is already saying that color is 50% gone. Never using epson again. Bad decision. The only reason I gave it two stars was because, when it did work, it got the job done. Waste of money though.
Summary: This thing really does suck through ink, even with the "black and white only" settings and the "draft" quality of ink. That was annoying, but it's not as bad as other printers I've had. The problem I have is that after a mere six months of use, this thing just will not print properly. It prints every other line blurred, or it just spits out blank pages, or it just prints the entire thing smeared.
Summary: I received this as a birthday present. It's the gift that keeps on giving - to ink vendors, that is. Pros: * Inexpensive - at least out of the box. Cons: * Expensive in the long run - drinks ink like a camel at an oasis. * OEM ink is expensive. * Doesn't feed pages well - pages often come out tilted. * Very noisy. Bottom line: * Spend your money elsewhere - or spend it often here.
Summary: Epson has come a long way in the past 15 years... a long way DOWN. This printer is so average it is comical...I paid $29.00 for my previous Epson and it lasted longer and performed better than this model. The print feed mechanism is poor (often comes our crooked if it doesn't get jammed); it does not print anything heavier than standard copier paper; the parts are poorly engineered (too hard to drop the paper tray or move the feed guides); prints have been misaligned...
