The Epson WorkForce 1100 makes a fantastic alternative to more expensive wide-format printers. If you’re running a small business or home office and want to make large photos, posters, or charts for client presentations then the WorkForce 1100 is a great value considering the retail value of $199.99 and a street price as low as $150. • Feeds multiple paper types, Excellent print quality, Low cost
    • Ink expires quickly w/large prints, Limited paper capacity, No wireless connectivity

The WorkForce 1100 is a decent printer overall really. The colors are nice and bright, blacks are dark as they should be, overall print quality is very good, and the printing speed is fairly fast. If you’re looking for a wide format printer then make sure you check this one out. It’s not perfect though, I had an issue installing the bonus software and there’s no USB cable or any type of network connection. Read more

If you want to be able to tackle any print project from index card to poster and you have the room, this printer will be perfect. When put on a sturdy stand, it can handle any size print with aplomb. Since the printer is very large and must be attached to your computer with a USB cable, you will want to make sure that you have room next to your computer and a sturdy stand before you purchase it. 1. WASTE

This printer looks good, and for the money, you'd think it would work well also. That is not the case. You will waste your money buying it, more waste when you shell out for the overpriced ink, more waste because this printer sucks the ink back faster than my uncle can pound boilermakers. Still more waste because mine constantly clogs, meaning time spent cleaning the heads, manually, and then they still clog. I would urge anyone considering buying this to NOT. Read more

BIG printer, I did not buy mine from newegg. I picked mine up from Cobra Inks with a constant ink supply system that allows me to print and use bulk pigment ink. This printer, with a CISS is probably the best printer I have EVER had. Mind you I also bought mine on the reccommendation of practically EVERYONE on the forums I frequent for inkjet vinyl printing for contour cut decals and for tshirt transfers on the correct paper. • Ink hog, and ink is relatively expensive if you wish to stick with the factory dura-brite pigment ink.... But this is an issue with ANY inkjet printer.

It is way too affordable to search for small flaws, Epson has always been a reliable brand in my studio. I am an artist and my husband does graphic design we needed a large format to get things done. Layouts are a breeze and because we don't need photo quality it is perfect, although I have yet to try for printing photos. happy. Read more

I do construction estimating and wanted a printer that would let me print out blue prints or at worse half of a . With the 11 x 17 paper I''m able to get the infomation I need to do the job. For this application the price is right & the quality is good. Read more

    • Does what it is supposed to do. Prints clear & relatively fast in Black & White mode. Software works great in sizing the print area on the large 11 x 17 sheets.
    • Is a little noisy; starts to print with a big bang.

I like the paper feed better but ink usuage is not controlable. In other ink jet printers you can set the ink volume to less and set the dry time so that when printing text documents you are not using so much ink. The Epson does not give you that option. Read more

    • great quality picture printing
    • very little control over ink volume . When printing text mode uses toooooo much ink. Had a hp 8350 befor and it had better control over ink volume so you used less ink.
