Summary: I purchased an ink cartridge for my Epson Printer at a local store and got one that had no ink in it. The printer did not even recognize it and I weighed the new one against the one I was replacing. The Store said, I have to call 1-800-GO-EPSON, that was sales.
Summary: ...unlike the other reviewer, we actually have installed and used this product. Fairly easy to setup (basic network (IP) knowledge required) ... our POS software already had the setup for this unit, so that was no issue getting it to talk to the software.
Excerpt: After using the thermal printer for sometime, I was introduced to the Epson Tm-U220B matrix printer, one thing I liked about this printer is the user friendly features, it is really cheap to maintain since it uses plain paper, this made my printing very cheap.
Pros: Fast, Reliabble, Low energy consumption, Compatible with existing systems
Cons: You need to change the ribbon after some time
Summary: Purchased this printer for use as a salad prep area printer. We use two other printers (same model) in our kitchen, and they have proven themselves reliable. Durable, easy to change the ribbon and paper. And work well with our IBM SurePOS terminals.
