Excerpt: Around a year ago i bought a job lot of returns and sourced a good non Epson refills and sorted out the good ones i was slow to get rid of them all 12, having made the mistake of mixing the duff printers back in with the good printers, while sorting through it turns out that most of the cartridges i...
Summary: I agree with the criticisms of this printer - it is awful. I dont know how the software got past their quality control. Not only does it refuse to let you print when ONE out of of four of the catridges is low, it rejects most of the cartridges Ive bought for it. I will never forgive Epson for this.
Summary: Do not on any account buy this printer....it is false economy..its cheap yes...but you will be totally frustrated by it....just google the model and read the hundreds of people who are sooooooooooooooo fed up with spending heaps of money on ink cartridges.
Summary: This has turned out to be a very bad buy. It prints ok but is forever running out of ink cartridges. They have so little ink in them and are quite expensive. This makes it very expensive to run. For this reason I am going to replace it as soon as possible and NOT WITH AN EPSON!
Summary: This printer takes far too long to print anything. When it runs out of any ink regardless of colour it will not allow you to bypass it to print in black and white only. I would never buy this printer again and definately would not recommend it to anyone. It has put me off Epson as a make altogether.
Summary: My review is the same as many of the other postings. I have had this printer a couple of months and it has rejected 4 of my cartridges within a very short time span. Epson sent me a replacement printer but this too had exactly the same FAULT.
Summary: I've been a loyal Epson customer for around ten years but the recent experiences I've had with their printers, I'm sad to say, haven't been good. I bought an S20 recently not expecting much from such a low budget printer but I did expect it to at least function!
Excerpt: DO NOT BUY this printer, doesn't recognise genuine cartridges after a while and therefore does not enable you to print at all. In my case, bought a new yellow cartridge when it complained about the last one not being genuine when it was, this worked for about a week and then it stopped working again...
Summary: You won't use this printer much - it simply doesn't work. Mine didn't reject the cartridges but just stopped printing. Instead of putting ink onto the paper it dumped it in the printer sink leaving the paper blank. No point in buying it unless it's a present for someone else.
Summary: I received my Epson Stylus S20 as a gift and it has proved to be very reliable. I required a printer that could easily be transported from place to place along with my laptop and the S20 is light and fits nicely in a sports bag.
