Summary: I like to think that ultimately I will be ecstatic with my new Stylus Pro 3880 but so far? not so much! Let me explain. Out of the box, untaped, tested it, worked fine. Printed 3 or 4 photos I needed for my photography assignment and they were head and shoulders above the output from my previous...

Summary: UPDATE! I am now on my FOURTH printer! The last replacement arrived broken (not in transit), highly used and missing the entire front panel! Wow, does anyone even look at these things before they are shipped out??
Summary: I use this printer to make prints of my artwork and occasionally to print photographs. This printer worked ok in the beginning, but has the rear feeder has always been touchy. For several months now, the rear feeder will sometimes load the paper when it feels like it. But now it won't load at all.
Summary: The 3880 prints beautiful colors. It is ideal for paper media. That being said, I have spent a frustrating 12 hour day doing all I can think of to get a canvas print without success. My primary intention in buying this printer was to be able to print on canvas.
Excerpt: The installer wrecked my Mac system files. I have had to rebuild everything from a Time Machine backup and am in touch with Epson to get the driver WITHOUT the installation program. So, beware, if you're on a Mac.
Summary: At first I loved this printer. Great print quality, easy setup and flawless top paper loading. I use the printer for making 17" X 22" posters that then get laminated. Very happy with the print quality. But a few months after purchasing the printer, Epson discontinued the paper I was using.
Summary: I think I should have done better research before purchasing. This is a good printer, but probably not right for my needs. I've been using it for about 6 weeks now alongside an older Epson R1800.
Summary: It worked well at first but now it won't feed paper properly and keeps defaulting to photo black when I have only ever used it for matte. It is trying my patience to extreems, the print quality is superb when it goes but I am wasting a lot of ink.
Summary: good when it works! worked great for just over a year then started usung loads of ink then needed constant head cleaning. contacting Epson is of no use as their back up is pathetic and a call out or repair is just not economical. so what am I supposed to do with it?
