Summary: I purchase two Epson Stylus Photo R380 Color Inkjet Printers by mistake but I decided to keep both. After using one of them and running out of ink, I started using the 2nd R380 Epson Printer. When it came time to replace some of the ink carriages, I found that, even though both printers are R380, the 2nd printer uses different ink carriages than the other Epson R380 printer. I can't understand this.
Summary: This printer is my favorite except for one thing. I think this printer would last forever except that Epson somehow has figured out a way after a certain time or period to make the printer not recognize the ink cartridges. When this happens then you are done. I can say I still go back to buying more of the same printer. I use this printer because I am a Videographer and I print on my DVD's. I continue to buy this printer even though I think Epson is ripping people off.

Summary: With the original ink you can get a better printer, I have used mine now for just over 3 years and still going super, prints CD's like factory photos like super, I love it. You can order an after market outside bottle that goes on the side, and hold all of the used ink that way it don't get all built up inside of the printer, you just dump the bottle when it about full. I use mine all the time. Tracie Bobb, Philadelphia, Pa.
Epson is a joke buy Canon unless you need the CD TRAY

Summary: The Devils at Epson are being revealed! This little joker has lots of profit potential for Epson, since it has "chips in the ink" to make the printer have fits if you don't bleed $$$$ into it to keep it clean & running . (LOOK UP SPIKE CLEANING FOR YOUR MODEL) also learn to "reset" your ink cart with the SECRET RESET pin hole hidden on each cartridge. Look on Youtube for this info, before chucking them. The CD tray gets "bent" up so buy a new one occasionall.
Great printer, even at retail price. Home pro printing.

Summary: I do not like the memory functions of the printer. You can dump an entire CF card in the memory but not save one or two choice images to keep and reuse over again.... the ONLY other thing about this printer that I don't like is the size. IT IS HUGE..... But for the crisp, HIGH QUALITY proofs, and beautiful DSLR prints you get from this machine, and the 17 second 4x6 SPEED of this printer, it is absolutely unparalleled in the field.
Summary: Wow amazing printer. Prints 8x10 image super fast and writes on cd/dvd super good. Dont recommand you trying to print on like 5,000 cd/dvd lol but yeah if your just gonna use it for awesome looking covers then its the best of the best. I enjoy it alot.
