It's awesome! I printed a 13 in x 4 ft ...

I. Schneider, Amazon
1 March 2015
  • Summary: I've been going back and forth on what printer to buy and settled on this one a couple of weeks ago. It's awesome! I printed a 13 in x 4 ft pano on it and used way less ink than I thought I was going to. The color looks great, my photos are turning out great (using Ilford Galleria Pearl paper, my current favorite). I'm also using this for digital negatives and the negs are so far looking really good as well.

A great printer!

Nikon User, Amazon
17 February 2015
  • Summary: This is a great printer. It is quieter and faster than my previous epson printer. It is easier to match what I see on my monitor and I like the front display for inks and setup.

This is my SECOND R3000 and LOVE IT!

Kim, Amazon
16 February 2015
  • Summary: This is my second Epson R3000 and gotta tell you I love this printer, I decided to get another for back up. It is great with Envelopes. The ink is very expensive, so in the first one that I bought I use ink in it from Inkjet Mall (Jon) is super informational when it comes to this printer. All in all .. this is a great printer. Now I have THREE PRINTERS (2 Epson R3000 and 1 OKI C711WT).

Great Printer

Roger, Epson
19 November 2014
  • Summary: I use the Epson Stylus Photo R3000 for printing photographs downloaded to my computer from 3 different cameras. It makes excellent prints and is much faster than my 2200. However the on standard settings the R3000 prints are noticably darker than the 2200. I have to use special settings to get the R3000 prints to be as bright as I prefer. Warning! Use only Epson ink. I used other brands of ink with disasterous results.

Replacing my R2400 with the R3000

Frank Schorr, Amazon
14 November 2014
  • Summary: So let me start off by saying I'm really bitter about my decision to buy this machine. I wished I could keep using my Epson R2400, but it really wastes more ink now than ever mostly because the quality is no longer good. It still prints great when it wants to, but usually between ink swaps debris and gunk get caught from somewhere and dirties the prints. Not all the time. I've printed with this machine since it came into the market.

Perfectly Wonderful

Michelle of Yardley, Epson
9 November 2014
  • Summary: Purchased this printer to replace my R1900, which had a disappointingly short lifespan! THAT is another story--the only Epson product that ever proved to be a bad experience (I have had several GOOD experiences over the years). The R3000, so far, is a JOY, especially with the $200 rebate. Its performance has been stellar so far. The only complaint I have (not trivial) is that when switching from Photo Black to Matte Black (or vice-versa) too much ink is used up.
