Amazingly Easy and Convenient

StudioF7, Epson
  • Summary: I have used my Epson 3000 for approximately one year and continue to be amazed by the outstanding results it provides. This printer was easy to set up and I began using it almost immediately. I only use Epson brand photo paper and the results have been fantastic. I can't think of any downside to this printer because I only use it for high and semi gloss photo prints.

  • Excerpt: Using it with a Mac Pro. Instructions are not great as it took a long time to figure out how to get the settings right. Still struggle with getting it to change the black ink right. My photo prints have random red ink droplets on them, usually 1 or 2 drops per photo. They are still wet on printout but leave a spot if you try to dab them off. Was always happy with printshop and windows and epson, not so pleased with new epson, printshop, and mac.

Excellent Photo printer

gatorlou, Adorama

  • Excerpt: I replaced my Epson R2400 printer with the Epson R3000 printer. I considered the R2400 to be the perfect printer. I had 13 years of trouble free service with the R2400. So I had to replace it with an Epson photo printer. The R3000 exceeds the quality of the 2400 to a very noticeable degree. the colors are brighter and deeper. The printer is user friendly and has many extra features. I have only one complaint; the Epson 3000 is not shy about using ink.

Printing with New Ink Cartridges

Anonymous, Adorama
13 September 2014
  • Excerpt: I just recevieved my new R3000 printer and I had a big order to fill. With the ink that shipped with the printer, I was able to print 43 (8x10) and 30 (11x17) photos before I ran out of my first ink cartridge. I thought this might be useful information for those who are trying to figure out how many photos you can print right out of the gate.
