Cheaply made, expensive ink refills, short service life, expensive repairs. Wonderful prints though.

Summary: Short and Sweet: 1) Prints beautifully 2) Cheaply made plastic printer 3) Printer purposely wastes ink 4) Check the price on Epson ink cartridges first...you'll be shocked at the cost 5) Refillable ink cartridges are available, but with mixed results (Not recommended) 6) Must print fairly frequently...

Summary: Incredible printer! Easy to setup, just follow instructions. First print was on cheap photo paper and was outstanding. Then printed on canvas roll and was absolutely blown away. Be warned, the ink usage is way more than what you probably expect, but this is not your ordinary document inkjet.
Summary: I've been going back and forth on what printer to buy and settled on this one a couple of weeks ago. It's awesome! I printed a 13 in x 4 ft pano on it and used way less ink than I thought I was going to.
Summary: This is my second Epson R3000 and gotta tell you I love this printer, I decided to get another for back up. It is great with Envelopes. The ink is very expensive, so in the first one that I bought I use ink in it from Inkjet Mall (Jon) is super informational when it comes to this printer.

Summary: I have had this printer for 2-3 years and I am greatly disappointed in it. It prints beautifully.....if you like black blobs of ink showing up randomly on the print. I have searched the internet and this seems to be quite a common problem.
Summary: Have used Epson printers throughout the years at my job and purchased one for home use which is the R3000 Inkjet Printer. So far the printing has been excellent and the photos come out very nicely.
Summary: I use the Epson Stylus Photo R3000 for printing photographs downloaded to my computer from 3 different cameras. It makes excellent prints and is much faster than my 2200. However the on standard settings the R3000 prints are noticably darker than the 2200.
