The Epson Stylus® Photo R3000 is a photo printer that features Epson Stylus Pro-series printer technology and support high-capacity individual ink cartridges, advanced media handling to support a wide range of paper types, and Ethernet and wireless-N connectivity. It also features Epson UltraChrome K3® with Vivid Magenta ink technology and an advanced MicroPiezo® AMC™ print head. It can print on a variety of media, glossy, matte and fine art papers up to 13-inches wide. Other features on the Epson Stylus Photo R3000 include AccuPhoto™ HD2 image technology for gradual color transitions and optimized highlight and shadow detail.

The Epson Stylus Photo R3000 features Epson UltraChrome K3 with Vivid Magenta Ink which is an eight-color ink set with Vivid Magenta and Vivid Light Magenta that support vivid blues and violets; Advanced Media Handling which includes a main top-loading, high-capacity tray, new front-in, front-out media path designed for fine art media up to 1.3 mm thick, and support broad media with BorderFree® cut-sheet media handling; AccuPhoto HD2 Image Technology for precision placement of each individual ink droplet for grain-free images; MicroPiezo AMC Print Head which is an eight-channel print head that produces a maximum resolution of 5670 x 1440 optimized dpi and variable-sized droplets as small as 2 picoliters; nine individual 25.9 ml ink cartridges with pressurized ink technology; Auto-switching Black Inks where the printer can automatically switch between Photo and Matte black inks for deeper blacks and richer color on glossy, matte or fine art media; built-in Ethernet®, wireless 802.11n and Hi-Speed USB 2.0 for connectivity options to multiple computers in a home or studio. The Epson Stylus Photo R3000 also features four Advanced Black-and-White Photo Modes– neutral, warm, cool, or sepia. It is available in March 2011 for $849 (MSRP).
