The New Gold Standard in standard and photo printing!
7 July 2014
Summary: Simply the best name in photo printing and trust me, I've used them all. HP was always the gold standard but Epson has rewritten the book on quality and ease of use...in my opinion. The R300 is and has been my favorite for years as it's an older model. I have been able to find on the market and have a few in stock just in case. Finding ink is getting a bit more difficult but until I can no longer get it, this is my printer.
Summary: Fantastic photo prints. I've purchased re-manuf ink from abcink.com and the results are the same as factory ink. I've had this printer since 2005 without any problems. High quality prints form photos or text. The capability to print on inkjet printable CD's & DVD's makes this a great value. I've printed 1000's of discs. I bought a 2nd one as a backup in the even the original ever breaks. Looks lie that'll be a long time from now.
Summary: I bought this used R 300 printer because I have been using one just like it for over 6 years. I had plenty of extra ink cartridges on hand and have always appreciated the quality of print on my CD's & DVD's.. It gets very heavy use each day, and keeps on ticking.
Purchased it to back up my Artesian 810 and it's doing that.

Summary: It's easy too use and the photos that I have printed are better than I can get at mini lab, Haven't used it enough to comment on ink how long ink cartriges last but I am satisfied with it so far,
Summary: Best budget printer out there for DVD printing. The ink is expensive However buying a continuous ink system online solves that. Love the printer. Too bad their not being made anymore. That's why I buy them online at ebay.
This working printer has been a great buy for all the features included!

Summary: This used Epson Stylus Photo R300 printer was well packaged and arrived in good condition. It needed external cleaning and after running built-in printer utilities to clean the print-head, the printer test printed well. I have an identical printer which has worked well. The direct CD/DVD printing capability is especially useful. This model (R300M) has a external view monitor but it doesn't work but this seems to be the only problem.
This is a great printer for value and quality at a fraction of the cost.

Summary: My wife researched this printer years ago for me as the best for price and quality. I liked it so much I bought another one used and they both still work. I found the production a little slow at 2 - 2 1/2 min a CD for my eager needs. The more production the better. More printers right. I also jumped into the R320 for the experience and I applaud that printer as well. I own two of each and am pleased with both or you could say all four.
Summary: There are few things that I dislike about this printer. It does not have a lighted LCD display, ink has a short life but...... It prints photo lab quality and is very good selection of options.
Summary: This printer prints nicely. The images are clear. The text is clear. The color is as I expected as well. The only issue I have with this printer I received is that it does NOT feed card stock well at all. You have to physically stand over the machine and feed each sheet into the printer. This is such a waste of my precious time. I guess I will just have to deal with it since I bought it "as-is" with NO guarantees.
