Summary: This printer was purchased used. Thank god for Amazon. As soon as I explained that the unit did not work, they refunded my money. The printer is a great printer, I had one. Hence why I was purchasing this one. But the heads were so clogged I went through $150 in ink and it never recovered.
Summary: We received the Epson printer during my daughter's college finals. She wasn't able to spend time setting it up and using it until completing her finals. When she finally set it up to print some family photos it wouldn't feed, then once we got it to feed it went right through without printing.
Summary: I used to think Epson Printers were great. I have had two Epson Stylus Photo 2200 printers. The first was new and worked great right out of the box. The second I got used and is still working well. Then I bought a new R2880 (see my Buyer Beware review to read how terrible that printer was).
Summary: I have owned this for a couple of years now and have finally given up on it. The build quality is poor in my estimation but the printer also suffers from shoddy mechanical design. Some of the higher end print settings are only available by choosing the manual feed setting, unfortunately most papers...
Summary: This printer was great the first few times I used it, then the NIGHTMARE! IT IS NOT RELIABLE!! Each print quality is extremely different from the previous. I'm a graphic designer and CAN NOT have this happen.
Heads up, Mac Users: Will Not Work With Snow Leopard

Summary: The Epson R2400 did indeed output some pretty impressive prints for about a year, until I updated to Mac OSX.6--Snow Leopard (I checked w/Epson to make sure a compatible printer driver would be available before I installed Snow Leopard).
Summary: This printer creates phenomenal quality prints, up to 13 by 19 inches. I was thrilled with its performance during the first few months of owning it. I had no troubles setting it up, or getting it to work with Adobe Lightroom. (Like others, I can't get it to work with iPhoto).
