Summary: i bought the epson R220 to replace one I've had for years. Pro: It's the best small workhorse desktop for all needs. Con: The Epson inks are expensive. I've had many Epson printers, including the 7800. Whenever I've used 3rd party inks, they clog or create other problems, so I bite the bullet and use Epson inks.
Summary: I ordered it for a friend. It did not work on his laptop computer with the Microsoft Vista operating system. So we threw it in the garbage and went out and bought a brand new HP printer (which didn't work in the Vista system either, only the Windows 7). It was worth a try.
Summary: Reliable workhorse. Comes with good labeling software that gives you good options to create the label the way you want to. Individual ink cartridges can be replaced, but printer does not run if one cartridge runs out.
Summary: My 220 printer broke down I needed another...searched it out and purchased one...the only thing I didn't like about it was the fact that the inks in it were not OEM Epson ink and the description didn;t say that.
