Excerpt: I was very nervous to purchase this printer. I have had poor experiences with cheaper epson's in the past. The reviews on this one were mixed but so far it has been a DREAM! I use it to print archive quality art prints of my illustrations. the Ink usage is good as well.
Summary: This printer does everything I want it to do. The ink consumption is very reasonable and the quality of the photographs are eye popping. There are things I would like to point out to people: 1. This is a photo printer not an "all-in-one" 2.
Excerpt: This printer is great. I love it. Even an idiot like me can print great looking photos. Very simple to run. Took only a couple minutes ti hook up and make a print. Happy, Happy, Happy. Thanks Epson.
Excerpt: I've always had great success with the four different Epson printers I have owned. I bought this R2000 because of the advanced features and the improved ink. The quality and clarity of the pictures is as good as observing the scene in real life. Quick, easy to use and user friendly.
Excerpt: The Epson Stylus Photo R2000 does a great job, best quality & price. This is the second one I have purchased. The first one, Epson Photo Stylus 2000 was used daily for 5 years. We never had any problems....definitely got our money's worth :).
Excerpt: I started with the R1800, which continually required a lot of head cleaning and alignment before and after warranty return. The R1900 was a huge improvement, needing only a couple of head cleanings in the three years it lasted. I was leery of the R2000 with it's big uptick in ink price.
Excerpt: I've found the printer to be as good as, and better than, the other Epson printers I've owned in the past. The colr reproduction is very good. The CO/DVD printing feature is a valuable asset for me. Ink consumption is low, compared to other inkjet printers I've owned.
