Bought this printer back in 2011 and have loved it overall

Summary: Bought this printer back in 2011 and have loved it overall. Not very often I have any quality issues, but I've always been able to clear that with it's self cleaning/aligning utility tool software. Ink can get pricey if you use it a lot but the quality is great!
Summary: I got this to replace my 2200 whose heads were solid asI had not used it for 6 months. To get the heads cleaned -$75/ would cost more than this printer. This printer is fantastic in ease of use, clarity and color from 13"/19" to 4"/6" pints.
Summary: This is a great printer if you use the Epson printer profile; know how to use print preferences; and integrate this with Photoshop....In other words, you need to do some research in order to use the printer correctly.
Summary: I have owned the Epson R1900 printer for about four years. I do not print heavily with it because of the cost of ink. I create all my own greeting cards, including Christmas cards. I have always printed them on my trusty, workhorse HP printer (deskjet) without problems.
